Media Campaigns
MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
NCADD uses the media to encourage the public understanding of addictions, the impact of abuse and addiction on the community, and to overcome disinformation and stigma associated with these conditions. The media is used to promote community support for many of the disease prevention and health promotion initiatives at NCADD. Radio, television, print, and Internet media are produced at NCADD or obtained from federal health agencies. NCADD contracts with a number of federal and state agencies to coordinate regional and statewide campaigns.
